We were all too busy laughing about the Devil Finger kid to hold King Stupid accountable for that ridiculous hat. I don’t know anyone who didn’t want the Crush crew taking over their assembly hall, but really, what kid wants to go on a date at their school? Yes, watching the kids trek through the desert, jungle, and the Arctic was great entertainment, but why did no one question their dodgy survival methods? I have so many questions — why did everyone have strange fake names, who were the cloaked demons, where did the kids go when they failed the Way of the Warrior? We need answers, Raven! Yes, “youuuuuu suckkk” remains iconic, but I think i’d have second thoughts about my besties if I was stuck mucking out pigs while they went on a shopping spree. In good taste? Not so much. That being said, I’m still sad that I never got a chance to be on the jury.

By Latoya Gayle For Mailonline. The children’s programmes broadcaster ranked 30 of its shows across four tiers – but their top picks didn’t go down well with many on Twitter , with many claiming Tracy Beaker and Chuckle Vision had been done a disservice. Viewers were divided over how their favourite shows fared in the rankings. Legend tier. Top Tier. Mid Tier.

Radio presenter Greg James waded in on the debate, commenting: ‘Delete your account for not giving ChuckleVision a God-like tier of its own. The BBC would have died without that show.

dating another boy. CBBC wants to focus more on shows aimed at younger children of primary school shows that relate how hard teenage life is, not less.
Wait, what? Selling Sunset star appeared on Gemma Collins’ reality show. While we’re slowly getting into the rhythm of life at home, it’s not exactly fun, is it? It’s got us thinking back to simpler times. Before it was possible to conduct our entire lives through our phones, our window to the rest of the world was a heavy metal box that sat in our living rooms. TV was our friend and mentor growing up, guiding us through all the tribulations of teenhood and offering our weary parents hours of respite when we sat on the carpet watching our favourite shows.
So with all this extra time on our hands, we though we’d revisit our childhoods with some of the most iconic kid’s shows on CBBC from the noughties. Running for a whopping 32 years, Paul and Barry Chuckle — ie the Chuckle Brothers — earned permanent places in the hearts of more than one generation of kids. Watching them on a Saturday was like a giant bear hug through the screen — and we could all do with one of them right now. As far as we were concerned growing up, Jacqueline Wilson could do no wrong and when CBBC made one of her most loved books into a TV series it was always going to be a raging success.
We stanned Tracy’s sassy attitude then and we still stan it now, which is just as well because all five series are available to stream on iPlayer now. We loved the Queen’s Nose for a hefty dose of escapism in the 90s and 00s. Main character Harmony Parker had a magic coin which granted her ten wishes and the whole series had the wholesome tone of a simpler time. Peak nostalgia.

While many viewers heaped praise on CBBC for screening the kiss, others took issue with the scene, with the channel reportedly receiving over complaints from viewers. The BBC went on to say that it was committed to reflecting “all areas of children’s lives” and that the scene was “handled with sensitivity”. The channel continued: “This is an important part of our mission to make sure that every child feels like they belong, that they are safe, and that they can be who they want to be.
Broadcasters added that the kiss scene was just one moment within a “myriad of voices and experiences” across its programming.
